A recent gathering at the Church of Scientology in Milan brought together members of the Sri Lankan community for an event dedicated to dialogue, integration and practical values. The meeting highlighted an intercultural values event in Milan, using news european commission the common-sense moral code written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.
Community representatives, families and young people reflected on the importance of respect, honesty, responsibility and peaceful coexistence in daily life. Young people played a central role in the gathering, reflecting the community’s interest in offering the next generation stable points of reference in a changing society.
Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the United Nations, said such initiatives show how shared values can build trust across cultures. Across Europe, Scientology churches, missions and volunteers carry out community initiatives focused on education, prevention and neighbourhood-level support.
